I chose to design the pocket neighborhood for veterans in Garden City. This location is right off Westbury Boulevard where there is a supermarket location down the road. I decided within the design to have the main entrance and back entrance to be off the side streets of Lindbergh Street and Grove Street. I thought that the entrances being off side street then there wouldn't be as much traffic for the veterans. This location also has restaurants and takeout places within 10 minutes on Fulton Avenue.
